Jessica Liu, MD

Jessica Liu is a PGY-3 general surgical resident with aspirations to specialize in Endocrine surgery. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida before going to Emory University School of Medicine. She stayed at Emory University for her general surgery training where she has excelled as a clinician and scholar. Jessica has been an active academic member of AAS presenting at several meetings. Dr. Liu spent 2 years as an American College of Surgeons Clinical Scholar in Residence and received an M.S. in Health Services and Outcomes Research from Northwestern University during that time. Her work has been published in JAMA Surgery, Journal of Surgical Oncology, Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery among others. In addition to her academic successes, she’s a recent newlywed and went on Safari to Africa.  If you see her at the Academic Surgical Congress in February, stop by and say hello!
