From the AAS Treasurer: Announcing the AAS Job Board

Hello AAS members,

I’m very pleased to present to you the new AAS Job Board!

Working with members of the Finance Committee and our Webmaster, we created this board for our members, colleagues and constituent institutions to post open job positions within their programs. Postings are in 30-day increments, listings can be identified and organized by specialty as well as job location, and a discount is offered to Institutional Sponsors of the Academic Surgical Congress. The list of Institutional Sponsors can be found on the job post site – head to the AAS website homepage and click the Jobs tab, or click the links below.

I encourage our members to use the board – let your hiring departments know about this new offering from the AAS!

Hari Nathan

Dr. Hari Nathan is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery at the University of Michigan. He is a surgical oncologist with a clinical focus on tumors of the pancreas, liver, bile ducts, and stomach. Dr. Nathan’s health services research portfolio focuses on variation in the cost and quality of surgical care. Specifically, he studies the impact of innovative payment models in the Medicare program on surgical care. He is also interested in the quality of cancer surgery and prediction of prognosis after cancer resection.
