I have an avid interest in educating the next generation of healthcare professionals and surgeons. In fact, during my research sabbatical, I completed a Surgical Education Research Fellowship with the Association for Surgical Education. Furthermore, I've been involved in leading didactics with medical students and organizing a surgery focused educational outreach event with high school students. It would be an honor to serve on the AAS education committee and to improve visibility for the latest in surgical education to the AAS membership.
