I am writing to self-nominate for committee position at AAS.  The  mission to help surgeon to advance their career through education, research and networking really resonate with me and motivated me to serve.

As an academic surgeon, I was fortunate to be heavily involved in residents and students’ education since the beginning.  The expectation from our trainees are constantly changing, and our teaching is evolving constantly.  I was fortunate to be involved in shaping our residents and students 's curriculum in this era, and can be an assets for the education committee.
