Statement
I have been an AAS member since 2013 and enjoyed education and participation with the Association throughout that time. The ASC has been one of my favorite meetings to attend and I regularly submit research abstracts to the meeting. I think it is the best forum for trainees and junior faculty and have made many important relationships through the meeting and AAS overall. I am currently in my second year as faculty and developing an academic surgical practice with plans to submit a K08 application in the next month. I am actively involved in research and education with trainees of all levels.
