I am a surgical oncologist and surgeon-scientist at the University of Minnesota and the Minneapolis VA Medical Center.  My research laboratory is focused on the development and translation of novel oncolytic adenoviruses for cancer treatment.

The Association for Academic Surgery has done so much to promote the development of trainees and junior faculty members, and I would love the opportunity to give back to the organization through committee service.

I am excited for the opportunity to work with other members of the AAS to further the mission of supporting surgical investigators at all career levels.  Thank you for your consideration.
