The opportunity to be part of a committee in the AAS is very exciting for me.  Academia has been a big part of my career from my research in Thoracic Surgery and Neoadjuvant therapy and education.  I try very hard to be very involved with education at my own institution as well as nationally.  I hope to be a big part of AAS helping to advance the careers of my trainees as well as helping to advance research nationally.
