Hao Bids

I was pregnant during the COVID pandemic and did not feel like a hero, because I had conflicting priorities, between protecting myself, my unborn child, and treating my patients. My ethical duties seem divided. This is the feeling I had as I created this piece.

I am a fourth-year general surgery resident at East Carolina University. I am interested in surgical oncology and am pursuing a career in academic surgery. In addition, my academic interests lie in healthcare disparities, physician and trainee wellness, and education.

(Bidding on: Artwork will be printed on high quality art paper and framed. The artwork measures 7 x 10 inches.)
