AAS/Taiwan Surgical Association International Visiting Professorship Award

The AAS and the Taiwan Surgical Association (TSA) are pleased to announce the 2020 International Visiting Professorship Award. The purpose of this award is to encourage the exchange of ideas and information about clinical, scientific and policy aspects of surgery between members of the AAS and members of the TSA.

The recipient of the AAS/TSA International Visiting Professorship Award will receive support to travel to Taiwan to attend and present at the TSA Annual Meeting in 2020. The recipient will also serve as the host for the TSA visiting professor attending the Academic Surgical Congress in February 2020.

Requirements
This award is available to active members of the AAS who meet the following requirements:

  • A strong history of participation in the AAS
  • A record of significant accomplishment in any aspect of surgical research
  • A current full-time academic appointment
