The AAS DEI Committee is proud to announce Leadership, Engagement, Academia, and Networking (LEAN)! This program supports undergraduate students who are interested in learning about becoming doctors and surgeons.
Participants will be paired with local faculty mentors for shadowing opportunities. Participants will also be paired with a team of medical student, resident, and faculty mentors, with whom they will meet quarterly via Zoom over the course of the next year. The DEI Committee will also provide 6 virtual sessions on how to prepare for medical school, how to apply, what specialties are out there, and more!
