Ethics Nominations New

I am a 3rd-year medical student at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Being on the DEI committee is an exciting opportunity to drive meaningful change in a field that profoundly impacts people's lives and would allow me to work collaboratively with other colleagues to develop strategies that promote equity and reduce biases in both the practice and education of surgery. I have been involved with DEI at my institution and I believe this role aligns with my values and ambitions. I am eager to contribute to creating a more just and equitable surgical community and hope that I can do this through AAS.
