Jennifer Ku

Medical Student

Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine

Medical Student (n/a)

I would be honored to further serve AAS by expanding my role within the organization. My involvement with the AAS Medical Student Task Force during my second and now third year of medical school has been deeply meaningful and a highlight of my journey.

In this role, I have focused on enhancing student engagement and driving active participation in our initiatives. A particularly rewarding achievement was creating and implementing a successful live webinar for AAS titled “How to Write an Abstract,” which was well received. This initiative was met with high attendance and positive feedback from AAS coordinators, fulfilling our overarching aim to boost student involvement within the organization.

My experiences with AAS and its network have significantly enriched my commitment to the field. I am excited about the opportunity to continue contributing to the development of programs that promote professional growth and engagement within the academic medicine community.

I am grateful for the chance to self nominate for a committee position and am eager to play a more significant role in advancing AAS’ goals. Thank you for considering my nomination.
