Marios Alogakos

Medical Student

Endeavor Health Swedish Hospital

Medical Student (n/a)

To whom it may concern,

My name is Marios Alogakos, and I am a fourth-year medical student at St George's University of London, currently completing my clinical rotations at Endeavor Health Swedish Hospital in Chicago. As a new member of the AAS, I am eager to learn from and contribute to the association to the best of my abilities.

My passion for academic surgery has been nurtured through participation in several research projects. I have held leadership roles in an international research group, serving as the head of the surgical department, where I successfully led initiatives that fostered teamwork and innovation.

Although I may not have extensive experience as a committee member, I am confident that my work ethic, resourcefulness, and dedication will be of great value to the committees. My background in research and leadership, combined with my enthusiasm for academic surgery, will enable me to make meaningful contributions.

I am excited about the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed colleagues on these committees and contribute to the advancement of AAS.

Thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely,

MARIOS ALOGAKOS, MBBS Candidate, Class of 2025
