Statement

I am an Assistant Professor in the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. I completed fellowships in Quality and Safety and Surgical Outcomes at the Medical College of Wisconsin. My research interests focus around utilization of predictive scoring to determine trauma triage practices, mortality, and outcomes in surgical and trauma patients funded by a KL2 through Advancing Healthier Wisconsin. I am also is working on advancing a standardized process for shared decision making in the Intensive Care Unit.

I am an active member of the Association for Academic Surgery. I served on the AAS Publications Committee reviewing submissions for the annual meeting and I am looking forward to furthering collaborative relationships within the organization. I am an avid climber, runner, mother and soon to be dog owner!
