Committee on Academic Advancement Self Nomination for Jessica McMullin

Return to Nominations List

Jessica McMullin, Active Member

Headshot (optional)
Specialty

Endocrine Surgery

Current Institution

University of Alabama at Birmingham

Statement

I have been attending ASC since 2015 and have also attended both the Fundamentals of Research and the Early Career fall courses. These experiences have been influential to my development as an academic surgeon and I want to play a larger role in AAS and contribute towards continuing the missions of the organization and give my time and effort to this organization that means so much to me. I have benefited and learned so much from the fall courses and so I would be thrilled to be able to help with developing the curriculum as a member of the leadership committee in addition to growing other faculty development opportunities within the ASC.
