Eric Rellinger

Active Member

University of Kentucky College of Medicine

General Surgery

I am a pediatric surgeon-scientist at the University of Kentucky where I have basic science research laboratory focused on targeting metabolic aberrancies in pediatric cancers for prognostic and therapeutic purposes. I am currently supported through a COBRE grant through the Center for Cancer Metabolism at the University of Kentucky and the V Foundation. Being a pediatric surgeon, I have an active clinical practice encompassing pediatric acute care/trauma, colorectal, oncology, thoracic, and urology that provides broad engagement in a variety of surgical disciplines. My strong clinical and basic science backgrounds make me well-suited to advocate for and contribute to basic science and translational programs supported by the diverse membership of the AAS.
