University of Rochester - Rochester, NY

Surgical Oncology, Endocrine Surgery

I am finishing my second year as faculty at the University of Rochester. I am an Endocrine Surgeon exclusively, and have 50% protected time for research, where I study the effects of endocrine hormones on aging. I run a basic science lab and am in the process of submitting my first K award, aiming for a future R in my 5th year. I am well published, having published in both Nature and Science in the past. I am a critical thinker and dedicated to advancing surgical science, specifically in basic science research.
