Patrick Schwartz, Candidate Member

General Surgery
University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics
I am a current general surgery resident and Ph.D. candidate in Molecular and Environmental Toxicology at the University of Wisconsin. I am dedicated to pursuing a career as a surgeon-scientist with a focus on hepatobiliary malignancies. My current research involves investigating the role of dysfunctional tissue clocks in promoting the development and progression of pancreatic cancer. As an aspiring principal investigator, I am interested in serving on the AAS Basic and Translational Science Committee to mentor others interested in a career in basic science, collaborate with peers in the field, and give back to our community.
