I serve as the Director of Trauma and Emergency Surgery Research in the Division of Trauma, Emergency Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at the Massachusetts General Hospital. I have continued to use my training in healthcare management and policy, general surgery, surgical critical care, and acute care surgery to design novel studies that address critical problems in trauma and acute care surgery. This has culminated in nearly 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts and nearly 60 abstracts presented in local, regional, and national scientific meetings. It would be an honor to serve in the Clinical and Health Services Research Committee.
