Ankush Gosain MD, PhD

Ankush Gosain MD, PhD

Dr. Gosain is an NIH-funded Pediatric Surgeon-Scientist with a basic science laboratory studying enteric nervous system and gastrointestinal mucosal immune development and function as they relate to congenital colorectal disease (e.g. Hirschsprung disease). Dr. Gosain is a tenured Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics. He serves as Vice-Chair for Academic Affairs for the Department of Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, Senior Surgical Advisor for Quality & Safety at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, and Director of Surgical Research at the Children's Foundation Research Institute. He currently serves as the AAS International Career Development Course Director.
