Tips For Writing a Successful Abstract – Your ASC Submission Deadline is August 25th

Greetings from the AAS Program Committee!  I wanted to send out a reminder that the deadline for abstract submission for the 13th Annual Academic Surgical Congress is quickly approaching!  We are on track for another record year of submissions, and we look forward to reviewing your latest work in basic science, clinical research, health services research, surgical education, and global research.  As always, the highest scoring abstracts will be featured in the plenary sessions, so we encourage you to send your best work.  There will also be scores of parallel sessions which highlight Quickshot Talks for surgical and research specialties.  In addition, this year we will be awarding the first annual prize to the institution with the most accepted abstracts, so be a part of this exciting competition.

The deadline for abstract submission is August 25.  You can submit your abstracts by clicking HERE.

Additionally, I have put together this 5 minute video with tips on writing a successful abstract to increase your chances of an accepted abstract:

We look forward to seeing you in Jacksonville for the 2018 ASC!
