#AASChat Twitter Topic for Feb 16th “Aligning Research Projects with Institutional Priorities”

February 14, 2022 by Ochun Farlice, AAS Administrative Office

Join us on Wednesday, February 16th at 9 PM ET on Twitter @AcademicSurgery.

Our popular #AASChat series will be led by Drs. Karl Bilimoria (@KBilimoria) and Anthony Yang (@TonyYangMD). The topic of discussion will be Aligning Projects with Institutional Priorities, and the chat questions that will direct the conversation will include:

Question 1: When you have an idea for a quality improvement initiative, how do you garner resources from the hospital or health system to carry it out?

Question 2: Why does it seem that there are always more committees and approvals to seek in order to get your amazing, common sense QI idea implemented?!

Question 3: How do people leverage their QI interests to conduct funded research that gets published in high-impact journals?

Join the Conversation on Wednesday the  16th, beginning at 9pm!
