I am an Assistant Professor in the division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Wisconsin. AAS has been my home society since 2012. I have attended 9 ASCs and have participated on the C&HSR committee, the global affairs committee, and several Fall Courses. I have greatly benefited from the mentorship and programming I received through the AAS and am eager to pay it forward. As a junior faculty on a CDA I believe I can actively contribute to the leadership committee’s activities on enhancing the career development of young academic surgeons like myself.
