Global Health has been a strong pursuit of my career since attending the Medical School for International Health, a joint program between Ben Gurion University in Israel and Columbia University in NY. Currently, I am a breast surgeon with dual academic appointments at the School of Medicine- (Surgery) and School of Public Health (Health Policy and Organization). I am the Associate Vice Chair for Global Surgery and Assistant Program Director for the General Surgery Residency- Global Surgery. My research focus is breast cancer in Sub-Saharan Africa. I would be honored to serve the AAS community on the Global Affairs Committee.
