Vascular Surgery

My interest in the Education Committee stems from my passion for medical student, resident and fellow education. I currently serve as the Associate Program Director for vascular surgery at UAB and help run the simulation curriculum for the general and vascular surgery trainees. I participated in the ACGME vascular surgery milestones 2.0 writing group and now currently serve on the entrustable professional activity writing group for vascular surgery. These experiences have given me more exposure to ways in which we can optimize the teaching, training and competency based evaluation of our trainees which would help me serve on this committee.
