A brief introduction - I am Hassan, a transplant surgeon here at the University of Iowa. My academic interests include surgical education and outcomes research. I am actively involved in leadership acquisition, DEI committees and working on surgical ethics.

In terms of my surgical education research-focuses on resident autonomy, learning leadership skills, and learning behaviors. I have a youtube channel with 1000 subscribers to provide free-of-cost surgical education for med students and residents.
