General Surgery
University of California Irvine
I am a surgical oncologist at the University of California Irvine and have been actively participating in AAS since 2015. AAS is one of my favorite organizations as it fostered my scholarly interests in health services research. AAS has had a lasting impact on my academic growth and career trajectory, allowing me to engage in numerous scholarly and research endeavors. I am grateful for AAS because I found mentorship, sponsorship, and friendship through this organization. As such, I hope to be elected to serve on an AAS committee and support the mission of the organization. I hope to support new and ongoing educational endeavors and DEI initiatives. It would be an honor to serve on an AAS committee and I would be grateful for the opportunity to make an impact in this academic community.
