I am currently a general surgery PGY-4 at UT Health San Antonio, TX. Prior to starting residency, I completed a 2 year research fellowship at The Ohio State University Werner Medical Center, where I worked in health services research with a focus on hepato-pancreatic-biliary malignancy outcomes. Being a research fellow under the mentorship of an outstanding surgeon scientist provided me with extensive experience and an ever growing interest in the field of health services research. Being a surgery resident, however, sparkled a deep passion for care improvement. I would be honored to be a part of the Clinical and Health Services Research Committee. I believe that through the committee, I would be able to learn from and collaborate with other enthusiastic surgeons and trainees who share the same goals of advancing the field of outcomes research and improving patient care.
