I am fellowship trained in trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care. I maintain an active role in clinical research that focuses on improving outcomes for critically ill and injured patients. In addition, I have a research interest in ethics in trauma surgery. I completed my MPH with a concentration in Health Policy at Vanderbilt University in 2021.
My experience with AAS has been invaluable to my career. I have had the honor of presenting my own research over the years, and have also served on the Ethics Committee. I would love the opportunity to serve this further. I am currently pursuing NIH funding to support my developing research in ethics and health policy and believe that my experience with developing fundable research, especially as an early mid-career surgeon, could be an asset to this committee.
