Statement
My name is Frank Davis and I am an Assistant Professor in Vascular Surgery at the University of Michigan. My clinical and research interests revolve around the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) and uncovering mechanisms of AAA pathogenesis. I seek to be a member of the Basic/Translational Science Research Committee to grow the breadth and opportunities for scientific investigations within the AAS. I am a previous recipient of the AAS Trainee Research Award and understand the immense support the AAS provides to launch early academic careers. I want to engage with and mentor basic/translational scientific surgeons within our society.
