ACADEMIC TRANSPLANT SURGEON

MEDICAL COLLEGE OF WISCONSIN/FROEDTERT TRANSPLANT CENTER- MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN

Join Dr. Matthew Cooper, new Chief of Solid Organ Transplant as we reinvigorate our transplant department!

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Surgery is searching for an academic surgeon in solid organ transplantation. This position is being recruited at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (more experienced physicians also welcomed).  The successful candidate will have an appointment in the Division of Transplant Surgery.

Position Requirements/Details

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgery
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin
  • Interest in pursuing a career in academics.

The Division of Transplant Surgery provides abdominal organ transplantation including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplantation services at Froedtert Hospital and Children's Wisconsin. The division provides state-of-the-art transplant-related services, laboratory and clinical research and teaching of residents, fellows, and students. The clinical schedule provides flexibility and ensures time for academic pursuits.
